- Is PLJ POS built for Malaysian businesses?
- Yes. PLJ POS handles the things a Malaysian counter deals with daily: cash, card, e-wallet and DuitNow QR payments including split tender, SST and service charge, and 5-sen cash rounding. Prices are in ringgit and the product is built in Malaysia for Malaysian F&B.
- Does PLJ POS work for restaurants?
- Yes. On the Pro plan PLJ POS runs a table floor with open bills across multiple kitchen rounds, split bills, and a kitchen display per station that updates as tickets move. Orders are routed so each screen shows only its own work.
- Does PLJ POS support inventory?
- Yes. Inventory in PLJ POS is ledger-based: every movement is recorded rather than overwritten, so stock has a history you can read back instead of a single number that changed. Cost of goods, margin per product and per category are computed from that record.
- Does PLJ POS work offline?
- Yes. PLJ POS keeps selling when the internet does not, and syncs once the connection returns. This matters for stalls, food trucks, markets and any outlet where the signal is not dependable.
- Can PLJ POS handle QR self-ordering?
- Yes, on the Pro plan. Customers order from their own phone, and online orders appear alongside counter orders with a pickup board and queue numbers for takeaway.
- Does PLJ POS connect with accounting software?
- Not yet. PLJ POS and PLJ Account are designed to work together and every PLJ POS plan already includes a PLJ Account tier, but the till-side sync is not live — PLJ Account's own site says so. Today the two products are used alongside each other, each working on its own. When that connection does ship, it is designed to send each closed business day across automatically. Until it does, PLJONE does not count it as a feature.
